After you have successfully completed the University Transfer Program, you will progress to a degree course at any University of your choice or one of ONCAMPUS Boston’s partners:
ONCAMPUS Boston offers students a first year University program on the campus of a centrally located and welcoming American University - Wheelock College. There are thousands of Universities in the U.S. and selecting just one is a daunting task for an international student - our program allows students to begin their studies and receive guidance on this important decision at the same time. In this first year, students take credit earning courses, taught by Wheelock College professors, and receive between 28 and 32 credits as well as additional ESL preparation and academic skills courses.
Upon completion of year 1, students transfer directly into year 2 of one of our partner Universities or any US institution of their choice! Our program ensures that each student is educated on the complicated and vast U.S. higher education system before making a decision on the 'best fit' institution for him/her.
Your college experience
As an ONCAMPUS Boston student, you will be based at Wheelock College. Wheelock is situated on a small, tree-lined campus in the heart of one of Boston’s most appealing neighborhoods.
Wheelock has just over 1,000 students and is well known for its small and supportive community environment. It offers a safe and secure environment in which to settle into the US and experience all that American college life has to offer. You will be living and studying at the college alongside both US and international students. When lessons end, you have the opportunity to join in the full range of sports, clubs and activities that are on offer.
Wheelock College is located in the Fenway district of Boston. It is one of Boston’s most appealing neighborhoods and offers a safe environment still within easy reach of all that Boston has to offer.
Wheelock’s Campus Center is the hub of student life – where students eat, live, study, and just hang out. It includes:
- Multi-station dining hall with river views
- Coffee bar
- Campus store
- Patio & rooftop garden
- Offices for student clubs
All students have access to the Holmes Sports and Fitness Center at Simmons College, just steps from Wheelock’s campus. This offers a gym, basketball, racquetball and squash courts, an indoor track, swimming pool and dance studio.
Colleges of the Fenway
Wheelock College is also part of Colleges of the Fenway – a group of six neighboring Universities and colleges that share facilities and social activities. As an ONCAMPUS Boston student based at Wheelock, you also become part of the 11,000 person community of Colleges of the Fenway and can use the wider facilities of the other partners to enrich your student experience.

Gabrieal Babin, B.S. (Wheelock College)
Student Recruitment and Support Officer
Gabrieal joined ONCAMPUS Boston in October of 2013. After earning her B.S. in Human Development and Child Life at Wheelock College, she worked as an events and conference coordinator where she helped internal and external groups run successful events. She is dedicated to providing a smooth arrival process, by giving detailed pre-arrival information; and upon arrival, providing support for the transition into and throughout the program.
One aspect of her role is to implement an orientation program for students to provide an overview of transitioning into the US higher education system, familiarizing students with the campus and surrounding community environment, and acquainting students with the resources that are available to them.
